The Insect Discovery Lab is a hands-on outreach program that enhances the scientific and environmental education of people of all ages. We visit classrooms, libraries, community events, birthday parties, and other private events all over the Bay Area and all year round. Audience members have the opportunity to interact with our live animals that include the giant African millipede, Australian walking stick, Madagascar hissing cockroach, and many more. As a program of SaveNature.org, our goal is to increase awareness and preservation of biodiversity on our precious planet, specifically in rainforests and coral reefs through the Adopt an Acre® and Adopt a Reef® conservation programs.
