Welcome to St. George

St. George Care Community opened in 1972 in the Toronto Annex. Its convenient location offers easy access to public transit, parks, hospitals, retail shopping, and services; and the 238 residents enjoy the vibrancy of the community and the activities in the home. This long-term care community has a rich and diverse population and works alongside many community partners to improve integration and continuity of care, with a number of well-developed programs to enhance a culture of continuous quality improvement. Residents enjoy an array of recreational programming that has been created to reflect a variety of interests. These include yoga, a drumming circle, talent showcase, exotic pet therapy, and bus outings to such places as Port Perry for a lake cruise, and Niagara Falls to see the Christmas lights.
